      The purpose of career pathways is to help students make seamless transitions from postsecondary into high demand and high wage jobs.  A career pathway links educational credentials to jobs so that individuals can make informed decisions concerning the education they need to get the job they want.  A career pathway acts as a framework for students to aid them in making meaningful connections to the workplace.

      Business and Information Technology are two industry sectors in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area which have the highest growth potential for high-paying jobs.  Through the Business Career Pathways and the IT Career Pathways at Gateway, students will gain the skills and job-related training needed in order to be successful in the Business and IT industries.
