SubjectsPlus was implemented by the Gateway Community and Technical College Library in the Spring 2008 as a Program Resources Index. SubjectsPlus is based upon the open source code developed and distributed by the Joyner Library of East Carolina University, under the name "PirateSource." Ithaca College Library has substantially modified the code, and has permission from Joyner Library to release the new code under the GPL.
