Tutoring Services can HELP!
Improve your course grades through a partnership of learning.

Professional Tutors are faculty or staff members who have expertise in a specific area and have an interest in helping students master the content of their coursework.

Peer-Educators are currently enrolled students who have successfully completed the course want to help you be just as successful.

Both Professional Tutors and Peer Educators will help you by:

• Listening to you explain your course difficulty
• Reviewing items missed on a test or an assignment
• Offering clear explanations of ideas
• Working through calculations or applications
• Demonstrating how course content ideas are applied

Students currently enrolled are eligible for this free academic support service; they work together with a Professional or Peer-Educator by…

• Explaining your difficulty in a course
• Focusing on specific courses ideas or studying skills
• Preparing for their session
• Arriving on time for their session
• Following-up on suggestions discussed in their session
