Visual Communication: Advertising and Design

Description

Art and DesignAdvertising & Design is an option under the broader heading of Visual Communication. The program emphasizes creative problem-solving to prepare students for successful careers in graphic design, advertising design, photography, digital media design, digital video production, and multimedia creation. Prospective employment opportunities are in advertising agencies, graphic design studios, news media, photographic studios, film and video production studios, department stores, and other creative services departments and businesses.

The Digital Media Design Certificate has entrance requirements that must be met before being accepted into the program. All technical courses must be completed with "C" (2.0) or greater to advance in Visual Communication programs.

Program Options

An Associate of Applied Science degree is available through General Occupational/Technical Studies.
