Gateway to Energy Careers Program

Gateway Community and Technical College, in partnership with local employers, will kick off its Gateway to Energy Careers program with an Information Session on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at the college’s Edgewood Campus, room 109. The information session will address careers in the energy field and the coursework and credentials needed to prepare for energy careers.
Information about all of Gateway’s technical careers, including those in advanced manufacturing and trades technologies, also will be available.
The Gateway to Energy Careers program is funded by a $394,933 Department of Labor High Growth Job Training Initiative grant for jobs in or related to the energy industry. Awarded in August 2008, the grant is one of three DOL grants GCTC has received in the past year.
