Student Ambassador Application deadline has been extended to Monday, May 18, 2009 at Noon.
Interested in being a Student Ambassador? Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 1-2pm at Edgewood in room E101 in the SSC. It is a great leadership opportunity and a great way to get involved!
Purpose
The Gateway Student Ambassador Program welcomes eligible students to take an active role in the college community by applying for a Student Ambassador Leader. Selected candidates serving as a Student Ambassador Leaders participate in college related events in various roles. This opportunity provides the Student Ambassador opportunities to develop their communication and leadership skills through volunteer service in their college community.
Eligibility
The following are a list of eligibility criteria required for consideration in the Student Ambassador Program:
1. Student must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours
2. Students must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5
3. Students must have completed Introduction to College, Strategies for Success, or the equivalent in a transferred course
