Gateway Hosting the Local Government Committee of the Kentucky Legislature

Gateway is hosting the Local Government Committee of the Kentucky legislature. Faculty, staff and students are invited to this public legislative meeting at the Boone campus on June 11 from 10:30 a.m. until noon. This is a great way to witness the legislative process. People from the community will be invited to come forward to speak if they choose. Other committee meetings being held that day in Northern Kentucky are the Judiciary Committee and Health and Welfare.
The day, known as Northern Kentucky United, occurs every other year. It is an opportunity to talk about the Gateway Urban Campus and other proposed Northern Kentucky projects. It culminates with an event for the legislators at Hofbrauhaus in Newport.
