Gateway Schedules Information Sessions For Prospective Students and Parents

Gateway Community and Technical College has scheduled four sets of general information and financial aid sessions between now and December to help students prepare to enroll at the two-year school.
General sessions will discuss admission requirements, the financial aid process and tuition, academic programs, transfer opportunities and Gateway’s advising and registration process. Financial aid workshops will show prospective students how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
All general sessions will take place at 10 a.m. in Room E-210 in the Student Services Center at the college’s Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Parkway. Financial aid workshops will follow at 11 a.m. in Room E-209. Persons attending the financial aid workshop should bring their 2008 federal income tax return and 2008 W-2 form.
General information and financial aid sessions are scheduled for Sept. 11 and 25; Oct. 9 and 23; Nov. 6 and Nov. 20, and Dec. 4.
Gateway has fall terms beginning Sept. 22 and 23 and Oct. 14 and 31. Spring terms begin Jan. 11, Feb. 1 and 17, and March 15 and 31. For admission and enrollment information, call 859-441-4500 or visit the college website at www.gateway.kctcs.edu.
